Adult Racing - Catalina and Daysailer

The adult sailing program consists of small boat sailing instruction available to OYC members, certification of adult members to use OYC club boats, and small boat racing, now in two classes.

Boater education courses offered as part of the U.S Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 11-6 Public Education program on OYC premiss are open to the public.

The adult sailing program consists of the following programs.

Fleet 15 Racing

The time has come to plan for 2009 racing, and there will be a few exciting changes. The summer schedule consists of three series; the Cove, the Commodore, and the Radtke Series. Each is sailed for three consecutive Sundays, with the first being held on June 14th. Total races this year will be 18.

The 2009 race schedule will be provided on the Fleet 15 Racing Schedule page.

Fleet 15 Club Championship

The Club Championship will be sailed on Saturday, August 15.

Invitational Regatta

The Invitational Regatta will be held on July 19th at 10 AM. The last race of the Fleet 15 Commodore Series will be held that afternoon.

Just for Fun

Finishing the racing season is the "Old Ladies" Race on August 23 at 2PM.
