The Robert Radtke Memorial Sailing Fund was established in December
of 1989 in memory of Mr. Radtke who was a very active sailing
member of the Orleans Yacht Club. The purpose of this fund is to
provide grants for financially needy children who would like to
attend the Orleans Yacht Club Summer Sailing Program.
Grants totaling 32 weeks of sailing instruction can be awarded each
year to Brewster, Eastham, Orleans and Wellfleet
resident/student. Funds can also be used to help defray the cost of
students participating in regional, national or international
championship sailing series.
Monetary management of the Robert Radtke Memorial Sailing Fund is
under the auspices of The Community Foundation of Cape Cod and
donations to the fund are tax deductible. Contact the Club's Office
