Directions to OYC

From Mainland

Most people will take the Midcape Highway (Router 6) to Orleans. This is the best route from the mainland, Upper Cape, or Mid Cape. Due to traffic this is usually the best route from most of the Lower Cape as well.

From P-Town

Route 6 is the preferred way (almost the only way) to reach OYC from most of Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown.

From Chatham

Route 28 is the preferred route when coming from South Orleans, Chatham, or parts of Harwich near Pleasant Bay.

From Route 6A

Route 6A is more scenic than the Midcape Highway (Router 6) but can be congested in the summer. If coming from somewhere in Brewster or Dennis along the Cape Cod Bay side, this may make sense.
