ORLEANS YACHT CLUB'S PROFESSIONAL STAFF
The Club's Staff is a vital, and dedicated, part of the Club's daily smooth and efficient functioning.

Erin Powers - Bar Manager since 1989. The Bar Manager maintains all aspects of the Club's bar including stocking, ordering, serving and hiring extra bartenders as needed; the position also requires working with social/rental events' planners in order to meet their bar related needs. Erin reports to the Commodore.

Jim West - Steward since 2004. The Steward is responsible for the day to day upkeep of the Clubhouse including cleaning, light maintenance, etc. and is also the Club's on-site representative during social and rental events. Jim reports to the House Chair(s).

Colleen Wallace - Bar Assistant since 2005. The Bar Assistant provides support for the Bar Manager as needed. Colleen reports to the Bar Manager.

Joan Clowes - Junior Sailing Director since 2006. The Junior Sailing Director manages all aspects of the Junior Sailing program itself including hiring/firing JSP staff, overseeing boat use & repair, interaction with students' families, and program ciriculum. Joan reports to the Commodore and Rear Commodore.

Liz McDonald - Office Administrator since 2008. The Office Administrator provides full administrative support for the Club's daily business operations including bookkeeping, Club communications, sailing program(s) support, Club committee support, and Club rentals. Liz reports to the Commodore.
